CT is dead, please fix

I like the idea of a daily for a random CT raid that would grant substantial XP + Poetics for level 50s (and Esoterics/Laws for 60) or a weekly for an item to upgrade esoterics.

Not so sure about using CT for Relics though, doesn't feel right to force players to spam dated content for a new/top tier weapon. Maybe its ok if they only need to do it once..

A Duty roulette for those kind of contets up to me is a viable option, they still land good glamours, desinthetizzable gear, minions and they can add other little things (but not hoping for something that force u to do it), and pack all in a DR, it would be still better than the Main scenario one that up to me is getting older and older day by day and need to get a fix.

So on and so forth. Your problem is that the population has outgrown old content, regardless of what carrots on sticks get tossed in then. This is something that Square can't fix, really.

Also, CT sucks.

The difference being that I see coil and ex fights in party finder constantly, and you can make your own and fill it within 30 minutes, or run it with like 4 people if you're doing bcob. Most of the ex fights you can do with a half party.

There's a huge difference between that and people literally not being able to do tower at all.

Asking for CT to remain dead content because you don't like it is super selfish.

I really don't want it to be a roulette or a relic quest (especially the latter), but if they opened it up for undersized parties/non-alliance I wouldn't mind.

It's not just ct topics, there's plenty of topics popping up lately with people bored, people talking about why HW felt like an update rather than an expansion. There's a reason for it and it's called lack of variety. People want more things to do because 2 expert dungeons and 1 raid that get replaced in 3 months just isn't cutting it. I can assure you, these topics that are becoming more and more common will appear even more frequently if SE keeps releasing dull content that involves no thought and loses its fun after 1-2 runs, which they expect it to last us 3 months or so.

They could have easily kept all content relevant, so there'd be plenty of choices for what people want to do and how they'd obtain gear, but they chose to go the lazy and cheap route of "only 1 good armor set at the highest ilvl that you can get by putting in no effort". The same reason why we can't have an actual pet job, why they renamed firaga etc as fire 2 and why we can't have special stats or procs (refresh, enhance cover etc), because SE thinks so little of their playerbase that they can't handle that stuff. Yes, that's their reasoning for it, SE actually said they wouldn't add that because it'd be "difficult for new players"

We get more content more often than many MMOs do already. Sacrificing new players isn't necessary. Or desirable, if you want SE to be able to fund more new content in the first place.

Well they can please the majority who want new content, rather than a tiny minority who want to keep running the same old dungeons for years on end.
