Today took too long almost 4 hours for I manage to enter in Labyrinth of the Ancients. Well, with patch 3.1 around, still is admirable to have people doing.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind revamped gear/content. XI has done it time and time again. They have always managed to make things stay relevant. Sure, it'd be silly if old content gave gear that was max: for example 210. But if they gave us revamped lv60 trials to these things to obtain the old sets of gear within our item level range like 200 or 205 I think that'd be way cooler than the current- what? 3 sets? Maybe it's just me but I want variety of choices. Even if it's recycled content, it'd be nice to have a mixture of content to do so I'm not burning myself out on a single group of 2 raids when there is so much content this game has. Yeah sure, you can glamour your weapon or armor but at the end of the day everyone is still wearing the same armor as each other.
Recycled content doesn't bother me, what bothers me is useless content that isn't even used or worth doing. Even when primals were a huge deal, at least we have three primals plus tons of other content! HW has ever limited trials, even with the addition of the new 205 weapon one. Bismarck isn't worth doing, there is no quest that even needs bismarck or ravana. At least in 2.0 they had 3 primals, and reasons to do those trials. They have all these cool weapons in the game no one uses, and just rots and maybe occasionally used for glamour. I don't understand why increasing difficulty of scaling it to the current content and giving it something worthwhile is a bad thing. It doesn't have to be max raid gear, but it is nice to have options and viable options.
Sorry Bismarck weapons were never a viable option, at least when 2.0 was out ifrit/garuda/titan weapons were considered upgrades because to get relic and a weapon that was considered "good" you actually had to do them, and progress in them. Here, you get 60, spam a few dungeons. Bam 180 weapon. They need to stop shoving silly "gear progression" down our throats when it's not even a progression when at 60, do a few hunts and you can be full 180 in a day or so and not do a single bit of "raid/duty" content they have for the "gear progression" pre-180.

I was thinking after running void ark that it sure would be nice if world of darkness actually dropped some gear I wanted. If they increased the drop count to 2 maybe more people would run it for glams.
The issue is we go through too much gear. Of course with the level increase there will always be some issues but look how many sets of level 50 gear we have. Already were quickly going through several sets of 60. There's got to be more insentive to doing older content then getting gear worse then the same level gear that takes less resources to obtain. They solved this beautifully with primal mounts.
The other huge issue is everything is instanced. Ffxi I feel had less problems because its content was open world and fairly difficult to get to. With this sitting around and teleporting nonsense players have become lazy and doing things near them is lackluster

There's no way Im waiting 300 minutes on a queue. My longest is 51 and that was Ramuh EX.

I would love this to be implemented. There's a lot of gear that I wanted there for glamour purposes and people aren't touching the old raids because of a myriad of reasons making it impossible to get into.
Besides that, I'm not the only one who loves to tackle these bosses in small, undersized groups; it's a great raid with old-school Final Fantasy homages and shouldn't be left in the dust simply because other content are new.
If anyone thinks this is a problem then look at the Void Ark series in a few months as I guarentee it'll be as dead as the FF3 raids now simply because the masses has what they want and experiencing it and/or getting gear from there will be near impossible because of horrendous queue times and lack of interest from others.

Mind you that after you completed the Void Ark, it seems like SE has plans to expand on it, since Cait Sith isn't going to just sit around that sky pirate's lounge for the rest of its life.I would love this to be implemented. What I don't understand is the following scenario I had within the last two weeks where I was desperately trying to get Scyllas Robe of Healing (if you think it's ugly think to yourself. I think it looks amazing!):
Every time I queued up and waited for a group the queue list started to switch back and forth.
Right now I'm queueing up for Syrcus Tower and in the queue there are 3 tanks, 6 healers and 10 DDs. Then after a minute it suddenly switches to a group with 2 tanks, 4 healers and 5 DDs. It switches back and forth every minute or so. So why the heck doesn't the queue just fill up the people?! Those who registered first are simply subtracted from the latter group and they fill up the first group, so they can already enter the raid, while the previous group becomes group 1 and is filled up with the next set of people trying to get into the raid. It would make waiting time so much shorter...

SE should really really implement a Raid Roulette for 24-man content which works like the PvP finder. It was asked so often, also on conventions like gamescom, E3, etc. and Square Enix never gave a good answer to that. People want this. So please do it. It's not that hard to implement.
Also a good idea would be if they added special crafting loot for the Crystal tower you usually have a hard time getting, like Scintillant Ingots, Teak Lumber etc. Just implementing that weekly where you get Aether Oil for the 230 Anima is pointless because after some time people already have their anima and they never go back to that raid. Implement something steady instead which you can always use and which is valuable at any given time, like recent HQ buff food or unique crafting ingredients that ALWAYS drop.

The worst is when you wait half-hour queue, then one person is AFK and denies everyone access.
