CT is dead, please fix

The DF is completely and utterly shot.

Most certainly true.

The buggy DF has been a topic on the forums for a while now. The PvP forums have brought it up a lot, especially, because the 3 way fights illustrate pretty clearly that DF has trouble sorting players out when it shouldn't. Pre-made parties only seem to make things worse, as the DF is incapable of splitting them up. It just seems to have a brain fart and gives up. The average wait timer is completely WRONG 90% of the time, and it seems to lock certain players in empty groups instead of filling blanks in groups that only need one or two more players to proceed.

I would prefer a single party lv60 (iLv180) version of CT. while some fights will require more tuning than others, it can definitely work

I see a lot of outdated and non-new Dungeons that goes from Full Party to Raids lacking in any players, especially often Tanks. Example.

I queue up for either a Raid, any of mentioned Syrcus and so on, to even Binding Coils. It takes like few minutes to see a few DPSers to come in, one or two at times. But a Tank or two is like waiting for 24 hours daytime, unless you luck out that SOMEONE queues up, and this is for me more often then heck a lot on any of the Dungeons Non-Heavensward related, i add. I have to bring two of my bestbuddies to beg them switching in as Tanks, and then pray we get another Healer for Full Party Dungeons often. DPS Roles is not big deal, they come and flow in relatively easy for me and has made me sit and wait to play the Game for a while. And this can potentially get worse, i imagine.

Wish there were some system to ease this up a bit. For example, doing a Light Party with decreased Difficulty, but less rewards and less chance getting anything of note.

Well, sometimes you want the gear for the glamour, and sometimes you want to do CT to have done them just once.

It's not all about the stats, you know ^^;

WOD doesn't drop weapons as does any of the ct dungeons.Either way you'd have to do coil or some other stuff if you ant glamor weapons.It's more effective to grind wod just for armor spots.

i've had good luck queuing for each of the Crystal Tower raids recently; I've been running them for a friend who wants to gear up his first class by running 2.x content instead of buying the ilvl 115 generics.

On most of our runs we've had other new players and people have commented that they're seeing a lot of newer faces still running CT. Maybe it's just my datacenter (Aether, i think) but these dungeons are still fun and they're really good practice for newer players. Maybe it's been overstated how obsessed this community is with running only the bleeding-edge content cause there seem to be plenty of people in CT just looking for something fun to pass the time..

Glad to know people still do it, I queue as WHM all the time but give up after half an hour as I never know if people are actually doing it or not. Your friend sounds like a sucker for punishment! Just because even if he does do all that work, it will be obsolete by the time he levels up a few more! Maybe I'm bitter though, if you saw Scylla's gear from WoD for a male WHM you'd die laughing.
