Honestly, the original CT raids made me glad I had my tank at max gear. It was my best defense against the Trolls and idiots.... I'd better get cracking on upgrading my Eso gear now, while I still have the chance.

 
			
			
				I'm thinking more like the new relic upgrade progression - required to do countless CT, ST, WoD and BCoB in order to get certain drops.

Did you do your Zeta Relic? If you did you would tremble in fear at this concept. The RNG was AWFUL. There are dungeons in this game that I would rather piss glass than run again because I had to go through them over 50+ times just to get those damn items. Could you imagine having to do the same thing with the 24 man cluster F*** Raids? Way to make a nightmare even worse lol. It was bad enough for dps that the CT raids (or Garuda Farm) were pretty much the only way to do Light farming. At least they were guaranteed a certain level of light for their troubles... but RNG... no thank you.
I reckon they will tie the new relic as someone said above and to be honest it will work and keep it running well, would it be fun, most likely not :/


 
			
			
				I hope they do, it'll give me more of a reason to quit this game. Let me build this legendary weapon off the corpses of outdated content that benefits random glamour seekers.

 
			
			
				inb4 duty roulette: raids. Featuring the greatest hits from CT, original Coil and original Alex.

				Im not sure if it has been posted on this thread yet. But everytime i see people complain about CT being dead. How about: Making gear dyable aswell? (unless is part of the plan for the airships) But i d love to get those gears dyables/ wouldn't mind farming them over and over for that!

				All the old content is dead cause of a bad design. Dungeons should be synced accord to the players changing several ways , mechanics and rewards. The new players who want to run a normal mode let them choose mercenaries npc to complete the party like a tutorial learning them how to do their rotation. I'm tired of see many ppl failing the endgame no matter if the have ilvl210, 300 or 500 because they don't know how to use their job .
This game is too punished by the themepark style, hard and extreme modes only are useful for a week. They need to change all the next progression to not be only two stratum: Alexander raiders or the other casual staff. Anyway the lack of set bonus and sockets for pve gear doesn't help to do alternative raids
Two words: raid roulette.



 
			
			
				Just replace the weekly quest reward with eso or exp. Done. Don't even need to add a roulette. Would take like 5 minutes to code.
Or just add the roulette. Not quite as simple as adjusting the quest, but not too hard a thing either.
Or... do something needlessly complicated. Like adding a whole new system for this one thing, or making it a convoluted rng relic system. I feel like this is the option they're actually going to pick...
