[DEV REQUEST] Balancing Character Customization

Honestly I'd prefer if they removed the option to toggle on/off limbal rings from Au Ras (they should always have limbal rings, like how Dunesfolk always have glossy eyes and Seekers always have cat pupils) and turn that tab into a Horn tab instead, where you can choose both main and secondary horn sets. The fact that main horns are locked to faces and secondary horns are locked to certain hairstyles is just plain dumb.

This is the change that could be made, if they take a step back and see how much those eyes limit the options then they could open the door to being able to make the horns and faces separate for the most part. Even if it was all 4 horns could be used on all 4 faces they could at least do 2 horns per face by removing the eye option.

As other have stated though worded a bit differently, that's a great explanation on why we won't see the addition of a universal muscle slider yet, but not necessarily an explanation on why the Midlander girl has 5 facial options while the other races only have four, especially considering in many aspects they have notably less options.

I find it odd, whenever someone asks for more face options, options to have horns on different faces or muscle slider for all males, the general response is "Because of server memory limitations, we can not add these options". Yet, every big patch they add more hairstyles. How come hairstyles bypass the server memory limitation and faces, facial hairstyle, horns and muscle sldier does not?

I wish someone of SE would answer this question.

Even if you exclude the tails that take hair highlight colors into consideration, Miqo'te have 5 tails. Which is still more than Au Ra.

This is a great post and something that's always killed me about the game. I really liked the story behind highlanders and would like to play as a male one but they're so limited with faces and customization that I went a different route. I just couldn't find a look that I really liked, although now I bounce back and forth between different genders/races to mix things up and keep things feeling fresh for me.

I was a Roe male, from ARR launch, but got really bored with the lack of options and how stupid I looked in a lot of gear.Finally got fed up and burned my CE fantasia on switching to Au Ra female.
