    Constant 90002 Errors

The game is, at the moment, absolutely unplayable for me. Every 5 minutes or so, I am being disconnected and receiving the 90002 error.

My internet connection is fine and no other program is having issues with keeping a connection. This has been a problem for nearly a week now.

I've reset the router and computer, reinstalled the modems drivers, replaced the wires and changed ports in case it was a hardware issue, released/renewed/flushed dns through ipconfig.

I'm out of ideas on what to do, other than just dropping my sub for a more stable game.

Test your router on another computer. If it's older than 2 years it's probably dying.

Hey, I'm brand new and was having this issue as well. I ran about a dozen traceroutes to the server, and it appeared to be taking different routes each time. Weird. But there was one in particular that was timing out a lot or producing really high ping, somewhere in DC (I live in MD.) I tried that program, WTFast, and it actually solved my issue. My ping is higher, but jumping from 30 to 40 ms isn't a huge deal. People say choosing a server close to the game's server location is ideal, but this was not the case. I just let it choose a server near me, and my connection is now stable. I'm not 100% sure how the program works, but it does compile an "exclusion list" to avoid bad hops. That nasty DC server I was seeing in traceroutes has appeared on the list. Something should probably be done about these bad routes, but I don't feel up to contacting my ISP's horrendous CS. Try WTFast's free version or a similar program to see if it helps.
