    punishing loot lock outs

    Probably been explained before but id like to know why the end game loot lockout takes away from the team when they have a previous clear in group. This seems to isolate people more then anything else.

    To prevent people from selling/carrying lesser skilled players to gear, obviously. I'm not super thrilled about the system myself, but short of resorting to RNG drops I can't really think of a better solution ATM.

    Better than on bcob and scob times where you couldn't reenter the instance again.

    the system shouldnt punish you for bringing ONE person with a clear already tough. thats way to harsh. if you have 3 or more people tough its ok you lose a chest i say. but 1? come on SE thats bullshit. the crazy RNG with loot is out of control enough without this. the tokens dont really help much because it requires to many of em per piece. if youre unlucky rng refuses to give you a single drop per turn and you need to buy EVERYTHING which means nearly 16 weeks on some turns. that outright crazy over the top.

    and yes this can happen. i didnt get a single piece of loot yet for my tank since savage began. so have to buy everything if this continues. not funny anymore and hurts the will to continue massivly.

    Ive never been a fan of any loot lockouts period. one piece per week or diminishing drops. All it is is arbitrarily gated shenaningans to instill a sense of longevity. And considering how many classes they have and how important the armoury system is, these arbitrary lockouts just punish players who like to have a variety of playstyles. You like to play two classes? too bad. it takes five weeks to get a full set from normal alexander for one class. Well you can suppliment it with esoterics! Oh wait, those are weekly locked too. And are amazing looking, so you're going to want these over prototype gear just for the looks. you get enough for one accesory a week. a chest or pants piece every two weeks. two pieces of gloves/helm/boots every three weeks. a weapon? oh well thats another three weeks. Guess what! Youve fully geared three classes in alexander gear and one in esoteric gear since July? Not considering bests in slot of course. Well now you have void ark which adds new armor, which might change the best in slots, or add new armor for glamour! well theres going to be a weekly lock there too. so too bad.

    Im all for needing the challenge, needing people to work towards something. But for a game that makes it so you can play all classes on one character, they need a way for all classes to be geared equally. Since if you want to gear all classes now itll take more time than the gears life cycle.

    Totally agree with this. Just one guy cant sell a run. Ease up SE
