Is the game Audio Bug?

After 1.19 patched finished and I logged in I immediately heard the audio had changed. Basically It sounds stuffy, and low quality. A lot of the in game system sounds are so low you can't hear them over the music tracks, even with all the sounds at maximum through the configuration. No one else I ask has noticed it, or they're too hyped up with the added content to care. So I'm asking here, has anyone else felt this?

I don't use good speakers to begin with, cheap dell single green male plug with USB power cables, but before 1.19 I could everything with the clarity these speakers could provide. After patch, bluntly, it sounds like 'shite'. It also out right cut's off on certain selections (hitting Back on the character select screen, then re-entering through Play at the title has no system sounds at all for me as an example).

Thank you very much for posting your concern over the audio quality after the recent patch. We have not had reports of this being a bug there there has been some as a potential technical issue. You may want to check with some of the posts on the Technial Support part of the forum at http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...hnical-Support .
