    FFXIV Setup not setting up

I was having some issues with my game going horribly slow. Loading would take forever especially in dungeons and especially the fact the other players did not appear either for at least a good minute every new area that I entered which made my job as a healer very unbearable. Not to mention I'd randomly fall through the ground when trying to traverse the map. So I uninstalled the game started deleting some old files and tried to reinstall. 30314 20496 error began to show up crashing the patch update and when I tried to use it again it would bring me to trying to set a free trial of the game. I decided then to uninstall one more time and then do a system restore. Continued to be brought back to setting up a free trial. Uninstalled one last time then proceeded to delete everything on my computer that had to do with FFXIV, ran a cleaner to get rid of junk files I missed, restarted my computer, turned off firewalls and antivirus program, downloaded the setup again to get the patch updater and install the game.

Setup up completes, I make sure the 'add desktop icon' is checked, hit finish and no desktop icon pops up. I check my Program Files (x86) where the Square Enix folder should have ended up in and the folder is not there. However when I try to run the setup it tells me that the game needs to be uninstalled before I can use the setup.

What did I do? How can I fix this? Please help .

You may need to replace your hard drive. From what you mentioned, it looks like the problem comes from the data being read from your drive to load the textures and causing the stutters or even failing to load it normally.

Another thing, do you notice any gameplay connection lag?
