    The first time I rode a chocobo, I kept it for the entire 30 minutes. When the time was up, the timer stayed blinking at 00:00 for about a minute before my chocobo actually ran away. I'm not complaining over an extra minute, but it just seems sloppy.

    I think this is from a few months back (in another thread), but I thought the 'display' timer was based on your own PC's clock/CPU/GPU/whatever manages the time of your PC. So there will be a discrepancy between the timer shown and the actual length of time you're allowed. It happened to a few guildleves and behests I was on; the times were wrong. So don't worry about the timer itself.
