It's a ragequit, but if they can't be bothered to cross class protect to heal the group, I couldn't be bothered to tank for them either. I'm with you on that one.

Had a ragequit the other day when I got AV, which I usually love. Tank pulled too big, we wiped, BLM and BRD both tried to eat my fruit at the Locksmith, and when the tank did another enormous pull at the keepers and I died I cut my losses, dropped, and spend a blissfully peaceful half hour crafting before trying DF again.

I have never raged quit out of a dungeon or raid no matter how much something has annoyed me. I don't abandon my team unless something happens which forces me to log out of the game, and it feels so good when people thank you for sticking with them to the end.

By the time I give up on that moral (Which I usually share out of personal dignity and stubborn Gamer Pride) the group has already collapsed anyway. >_>

It was two weeks ago, on HL roulette.

Pop in, got WP HM, no bonus. Was on BLM, had MNK/SCH and a friend on DRK tanking. We do some pulls and while it took a bit, we were doing fine.

We get to the first boss, the one that throws spears. MNK stays on boss, not doing a single positional, notting or anything. I presume he was spamming bootshine, since didn't see GL up. SCH has sit down near the entrance while Eos does work, maybe moving once in a while to throw an Adlo/Succor.

After a long fight, we kill it, but sorry, I refuse to do a 60min run just because you're lazy.

I dont think I ever rage quit, but I do quit runs a lot due to: not being able to pass phases for the X amount of times, tanks wearing gear 15 levels below the dungeon (under 50 dgns), friends chatting throughout the dungeons while taking 5 minutes to pull and doing 400dps.

My first RQ was in A3. I was MTing Living Liquid, and when it got to the hand-phase, which, at that time did a lot of damage, I faced it towards the group, like you're supposed to. Everyone moved back behind it, and when I died and the group wiped, the WHM said something along the lines of, "This is why they shouldn't let people who haven't tanked before play DRK". So, I left the party. Thankfully, it's been my only one so far, gotten really conscious, good people the rest of the time, and it's been nice ^.^

Depending on how new your tank is if you dot all the mobs you'll pull aggro. Tanks are at a disadvantage at those levels for holding aggro, especially if they're a new tank.

I don't really ragequit much, usually just go with a vote abandon if things are going poorly.

Had to on Titan EX once though, when all four DPS fell off the platform before we even reached the heart phase not once, but five times.

I rarely ragequit unless someone else does it first (for DF timer reasons obviously).

The first time was in Stone Vigil for my Sphairai Animus. It was actually my first run, but it was probably late at night after work so wasn't particularly patient. The tank was a DRK and kept charging/stopping short of the mob aggro. Being a MNK, I was following his charge and didn't stop in time to avoid aggro so ended up pulling. After the first wipe, we beat the mob and progressed to the next but the SAME THING HAPPENED- him stopping short of the mob and me taking aggro, and figured 'Nah, this isn't gonna work'. The second time I queued was a little better tank, but he couldn't hold aggro (everyone else was getting pounded even with me watching my enmity) and we wiped like twice before the first boss and quit again because being able to survive the last boss was important for filling the book achievement, which I didn't think was doable at that point.
