Feature request: Friend list notes

I'd like to be able to append a little note next to the name of new friends I make so I can remember where I know them from! For example, just a short, 200char missive saying something like "High lvl materia melded for me!" so I can remember someone being nice enough to meld on my behalf.


A little feature like this would do wonders for quality of life.

While this would be very nice addition, I hope you have noticed the friend categories and ability to rename them. So as of the moment you can make few base categories and at least stick that to the friendlist friends to act as reminder.

I noticed you can add them to groups, but I didn't know you could rename them! How do you do that??

I.. think it was in the same right click menu as where you choose them, one option being "manage groups" or something along the lines. Not by my game at the moment so can't check.

Blist notes would be nice too, so you could remember why you blisted a certain character. Mostly because of rmt, though if there is an ability to create and add them to groups for this too, it would help out a lot.
