Remember way back when Yoshi-P first became Producer/Director? We would get detailed letters updating the progress of game development and answer to our concerns and questions. The Live Letter was used primarily to promote the game. The Live Letter still functions the same way. No problem there. The written Letter is another story. It has faded to a distant memory, used only to augment the Live Letter. Yoshi-P why have you abandoned this method of communicating with your subscribers? Please consider reinstating it as a method of answering subscribers quarries. We love this game but like all human endeavors it is not perfect. We can come closer to achieving that status with open dialogue between developers and subscribers.

Less letters and more live streams, they show off what they can when they can, and they showed off a bit a few weeks back. They just released a huge expansion and honestly they are working towards 3.1 you can't expect them to slow down production just to continuously relay info.

It wasn't til a few weeks ago where we learned "Lords of Verminion" is going to an actual thing

Hint at NPC based army units for players

Sky dungeons taking the place of a high level dungeon per expansion

Hints toward raid etc.

So they are still giving out info, it's just rather than it be monthly letters or whatever they do it when they are near ready, in production and such so that they don't have to take a step back and say "oops sorry we can't deliver on this" and honestly they have done that with some content already so it's understandable why they would only want to speak on content they have in production and not just ideas that are still at the planning stages.

May I respectfully recommend that you reread the original post. I fully understand what is happening with the live post. They are being used as promotional and game update tools. This has always been the case. The Live streams are perfectly suited for these purposes. I am lamenting the passing of the Letters from the Producer posted in these Forums. They were used by Yoshida-san as a means of communicating with the populace in matters regarding concerns and recommendations they have expressed. It was the one way that he truly changed the perception of Asian developers, in general and SE in particular for the positive. Yoshida-san has completely abandoned this and I feel that he is doing a disservices to everyone. My recommendation to him is that he return to this practice on a regularly scheduled basis.
