No thanks I like the smaller groups.

Yeah, I kind of hoped this thread was about 10 man raids where half the raid poops themselves in fear/ excitement.
I would be ok with this. I played Everquest for 10 years, 6 person party works well. Just balance the content around 5 person parties and then allow group content to be played with 4, 5, or 6 people. Best of both worlds.

I would like support roles reworked and have:Given the census of 20% tanks, 20% heals, and 60% dps. More dps jobs being added. In order to alleviate wait times for dps and the threat of job homogenization- I think expanding the size of dungeons/ raids going forward will alleviate these issues?
what do you guys think?
1 Healer
1 Tank
1 Support DPS
2 Pure DPS
People said that it would make queues longer for dps. I disagree because I think that:
A. If support plays more like support, more people will actually play it.
B. More support to fill those roles will result in similar queues to what we have now, not worse.
It doesn't really matter what the abbreviation is, we understand what it means, just think its funny lol.
^.^

Well they already had said there will be a new 24 man raid but if it's going to be as the CT/St/Wod.... ugh
I think 4 man is fine how it currently is, no need for an extra slot.

I can see this as being an interesting change for 3.0 - 4.0, where everyone knows their roles well and it wouldn't hinder new players from learning. My only real concern would be future queue times once earlier dungeons with this design are outdated.
Didn't FFXI allow for more freedom in choosing your party?
