    GM Support Frustration

    I don't think I've ever had a worse experience with customer service before. Last night I found out my raid group would require a Ninja of me instead of a warrior. Unknowing I mistakenly purchased the warrior esoteric weapon. Through feedback from other players having the same issue I contacted support and was told that my situation does not qualify as a mistake and they were not going to help me. The issue itself doesn't tick me off its more the fact that the supervisor I spoke with then talked with his supervisor and when I asked to speak with him he had convinently left the office. No contact information was offer I was directed to feedback and my issue was dismissed. An issue I know for a fact multiple players have had mine was not only handled poorly but ultimately nothing more then policy was quoted at me and then was released.

    My feed back? Try adviors with compassion. Most of us also have worked in customer service and understand when your hands are tied but for my case to be just tossed aside like this with no solution offered is in my opinion unacceptable. Now I've lost over 4 weeks of progress I can't get back apparently but others could. Thanks for providing and "unfair advantage" to those players as I was told thats what I was asking for.

    Oh even better I've had this account with SE since littarly the beginning so over 2 years now. It's refreshing to see customer service pick favorites.

    I don't mean to be mean or nasty, but this really doesn't qualify as a mistake that the GMs should have to deal with. They deal with harassment, abuse, RMT, and countless other issues that take up a vast majority of their time and energy -- and the delays in their responses prove that they've got hundreds of issues to deal with daily. They bust themselves hard to do what they do, and when the absolute worst happens in the game they have really ensured the game runs smoothly.

    I do sympathize that you used those esoterics and your raid changed their mind, but that wasn't the GM's mistake, and s**t happens. That would lead to a slippery slope of GMs having to deal with wrong decisions, wrong loot picks, and countless other ordeals that would triple their workload. If that was the case, they'd never be able to be contacted and then people who had genuine issues of harassment or attacks or violations of the EULA would go unsolved.

    Your right and again I'm not so much upset about not getting the result I was after. I'm more so upset with the fashion in which my situation was handled. Its a lot to explain and I get GMs get a lot of flack on my end. But should I suffer because someone else has it difficult. Is it right for me to treat you like you don't matter because you were treated the same way? There was obviously an answer to my issue and it was totally dismissed and I was just blown away how no one even took the time for any sort of reassurance what so ever.
