If this has been posted before sorry I couldnt find it,
I play FFXIV on laptop but I have no scroll lock key so I cant take any pics : (

I really miss this, my SS count from FFXI number in the thousands so many memories!

SE pls give us a way to SS without the scroll lock key!

set your game to windowed mode and press the 'Print Screen' button, then open MSpaint and select 'paste'

Cant blame you, it's a disgrace you can't alt tab and are forced to play in windowed.

Embers, there is a way to take screenshots.

Add FFXIV to your Steam Library. In the Steam options, you can set which button takes the screenshot - the default is F-12. You can set it to Z if you wanted to.

Another cool thing about running the game in steam is there is a web browser on the steam overlay so you can check YG while in fullscreen mode!!

well it might not be a great solution, but you should be able to hook up an extra keyboard if you have one laying around. Sure it'd be clunky, but it'll only be an inconvenience for when you want those screens. I have 3 keyboards hooked up to my pc atm so I know win7 does it np. I can't remember if XP did it fine or not atm.

I've thought about the extra kb, my bigest hang up with it is i got the laptop for the mobility,
But when i'm at home its a def posibilty,

Would Steam not be classed as a 3rd party program?
