What I would like with a new "party search system."

• seeking flag
• slash command with level/region variables
• new bigger UI base that lists all available people seeking
  • Fields to narrow down by:
    • Level
    • Job
    • Type of play (Seeking crafter/gatherer, mission, quest, leves, faction leves, GC leves, exp party, instanced raid, seasonal event, chocobo escort, etc.) - In general
      • Specific mission, quest, raid, etc. if needed
    • Area/General Region
    • Grand Company affiliation
    • Starting city
    • Linkshell members
• Comment system where you can write something, whatever you want
• Ability to seek on a job that you currently aren't on (i.e, if you don't want to just stand there with your flag up you can change to a DoH/DoL and do something while you are seeking on the job you want to level.

I think its a good idea, the FFXI system worked for party search, and worked well, they only said they would use use it as a base though so we will prolly see some differances. Also for the markets they just need to allow buying from the search counter and it will be fine.

it mean, they have not been ignoring every1, they just hadn't got round to it yet. hopefully now they are doing it ppl will stop complaining. although i can already see ppl complaining "i don't like this new search feature its too complicated, there is too many fields to fill in." lol

That's good news, although now that I've dealt with working around having no functional party search for so long, I'd probably just ignore it once it does get fixed.

To me, I think it means an Auction House, search and seeking party features (icon over head, flag, search, etc.), and comments for what you want to do.

Comments will really help a lot. I am really shocked the devs have not allowed us to comment what we want to do already. This was a much more popular feature in JPN for FFXI than it was with NA players. It gained steam with us eventually, but the JPN really used it a lot to make groups and find people who wanted to do similar things in game.
