At 10AM GMT my girlfriend (PS3) and I (PS4) opened up Final Fantasy XIV to log in after the maintenance. My girlfriend logged in absolutely fine, had a minor patch and after that was in-game with no problems. I on the other hand was greeted with the following error:
This happens after logging into my PSN account, opening the game, entering my password and clicking Log In. The Play button doesn't appear.Code:Unable to complete version check [20458][20530][20457][410]
What I've Tried
- Restarting my PS4
- Logging out of PSN and back in
- Restarting my router (to my girlfriend's disapproval as she was in a FATE - oops!)
- Changing my router's WiFi channel
- Deleting and reinstalling Heavensward (from disk)
- Deleting and reinstalling the entire game (from PSN download)
- Manually checking for updates
- Logging into Mog Station to check my subscription (still active)
Now that I've reinstalled the game I know that there are about 12GB of updates which need applying, but my game client is unable to get to this. It's now been 4 and a half hours since I first tried logging in and the problem still persists.
My girlfriend and I are both connected to the same router and are both connecting wirelessly, so I don't think the problem is on our end. The only difference between her game and mine is that she is using the PS3 version.
Edit: Oh, and we were both in-game last night, so I'm fairly confident the maintenance has introduced this problem.
