But wouldn't they have to rework the whole system of how LBs are attained in a fight? Otherwise the boss would just be a gooey puddle from all of the DPS LBs.
Or "balance" it by severely weakening the power of limit breaks to justify how often and how many are used at once.
I think they should have made them like the job specific pvp super ability. They are useful and unique to each job.
Maybe if the LB animation get changed into a LB cutscene
You can easily see them all. Youtube or play Ifrit Hard Mode and steal the LB as soon as it's available.I few weeks back a I was doing a trial roulette on my whm and it started to go south. Was the first and only time I've ever used my LB3 as a Healer (I didn't even have it on my bar I use it so little) and man was it awesome. I have yet to see a tank LB3.
I'd love a way to at the very least see the LBs because I generally only ever see a drk or the occasional blm and smn out in the wilds.
Ifrit hard is so easy now no one will even notice, and if they do who cares it's ifrit hard mode.
On paper it's a really cool idea but when you think about it, they have 4 limit breaks now and you mostly see one, and sometimes another. As a bard, I've never used it. And I don't remember a tank LB.
So.. if they can't make 4 limit breaks relevant, they might struggle to provide one to every class.
The only way I could see it work would be to throw out the party limit break and let every character have their own individual limit breaks and bars. Maybe a buff or a big hit or something.

I don't think you understand what ckc22 means by his statement. If what you are saying is that variety and variation is BAD and UNNECESSARY then he is sarcastically responding that 'then the game doesn't need, for example in the healer category, Astrologians, White Mages and Scholars. We should just have a single unvarying class called HEALER' only then can we achieve the homogenized, bland and 'balanced' future you are advocating for.And therein lies your problem. And thanks for the Hyperbole, makes it easier.
Just because different classes have almost the same efficiency doesn't mean the road to the result is the same. E.g you cant tell me with a straight face that SMN and BLK, the Caster dps, are anything alike.
