Player Search not working?

I'm trying to search for a player by name using the in game Player Search function. If I enter a first name, then click on last name to enter that, it is filled with the first name that I just entered. If I enter the correct last name, then click on first name, the first name I entered has been replaced with the last name. The search always fails because the first and last names are the same.

If I remember right, you can only search on one or the other, not both.
