Actually, the very notion of dps checks disagree with your first point. You need to have some standards, bosses don't fall over themselves.@AlphaSonic
That's not what i said at all.
I said this game is meant to be accessible to everyone, giving people the tools to further exclude individuals from content they are paying to access is wrong, people can and do clear content without parser because they practice, parsers create pissing contests out of team content. It isn't difficult to see if someone needs to improve without a parser being used. Those 7 people are free to form a static with an 8th and do the content until everyone is up to scratch, rather than just using a parser, degrading someone and then ditching and replacing them.
Parsers are just a tool, the same as chat. But we don't remove chat in DF to avoid insults right?
We did remove whispers for that reason, though.
Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
And the masses have hated this decision ever since. The complete inability to speak privately with friends, or to maintain lines of communication with prospects and having to choose between sociality and duty have come up more times than I care to mention.
This is further augmented as a bad decision by the fact that now... any time someone seeks to help another? They basically have to call them out in party chat. I feel this only makes people far more defensive and feel like their being exposed, causing what amoutns to 'dirty laundry' in party chat.
You think that blocking tells prevents harassment? No, quite the opposite. It just makes it visible to everyone. A questionable benefit because I can tell when people are being **** to others.
In the end, to me, the decision to block whispers during dungouns was the WORST decision SE has ever made.
