Yes, you know that DPS is bad, but there is no way to tell which of them is without a parser.

That's what people that are against parsing don't think about. When it comes to exclude people, parse pinpoints the problem straight out. Meanwhile without a parse you have to take guesses or exclude every single dps which usually leads to the full disband of the party.

I actually wished i was parsing when the example i gave above happened, because when you have cleric on the whole fight, call out the dps is low and get a "what do you know about it? you only heal" is annoying.

I'm really not for a group parser. I'd much rather have a Personnel parser that I can turn on/off that says.

    Your DPS: xxxx
Miscellaneous stats: (such as crit %/accuracy/Damage Taken/Healing/%Overheal)
Average DPS of your class in this Trial or Open world: (Probably limited to the past 3 weeks)
Upper Quartile/Highest of DPS of your class in this trial or Open world: (Probably limited to the past 3 weeks)

I said this game is meant to be accessible to everyone, giving people the tools to further exclude individuals from content they are paying to access is wrong, people can and do clear content without parser because they practice, parsers create pissing contests out of team content. It isn't difficult to see if someone needs to improve without a parser being used. Those 7 people are free to form a static with an 8th and do the content until everyone is up to scratch, rather than just using a parser, degrading someone and then ditching and replacing them.
Actually, the very notion of dps checks disagree with your first point. You need to have some standards, bosses don't fall over themselves.
Parsers are just a tool, the same as chat. But we don't remove chat in DF to avoid insults right?

We did remove whispers for that reason, though.

Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.

That is way more work to implement than a simple party parser.

Seriously people, quit being so scared of having your ability (or lack thereof) aired to your group for all to see. Tanks and healers deal with it every day they DF; so should you.

And the masses have hated this decision ever since. The complete inability to speak privately with friends, or to maintain lines of communication with prospects and having to choose between sociality and duty have come up more times than I care to mention.

This is further augmented as a bad decision by the fact that now... any time someone seeks to help another? They basically have to call them out in party chat. I feel this only makes people far more defensive and feel like their being exposed, causing what amoutns to 'dirty laundry' in party chat.

You think that blocking tells prevents harassment? No, quite the opposite. It just makes it visible to everyone. A questionable benefit because I can tell when people are being **** to others.

In the end, to me, the decision to block whispers during dungouns was the WORST decision SE has ever made.

If their reasoning for tell blocking is because of lawltoxicity, then they might as well shut down semi-preforms too because they might have a linkshell or voip going where the toxicgaspeople can wring their hands while hatching their plot to kick an underperformer. But they won't because it's ridiculous.

Guess what will happen if this idiotic suggestion were carried out:

    1) A certain forum that poisoned the FFXI community will post these parses in a stickered "Do not invite" thread.

    2) Job discrimination will become far worse due to intellectually lazy sheep swallowing whatever the elitists put on the forums.

Group parsers is the absolute LAST thing this game and community needs.

Oh trust me they'll know who to blame, theyll blame the drk pulling in 1000+ dps who didnt die and kept aggro the whole time just because he had slaying accessories, while frothing at the mouth shouting "TANKS DONT DPS" while theyre pulling sub 300 dps
