Question about World Transfers

Apologies if this not the right forum to post this, but I didn't quite think it fell under 'Technical Support'. I am looking into doing a World Transfer and have a couple concerns about my items. If someone who has transferred or someone from the community team could confirm that would be great:

1. Do items stored in your armoire transfer over?
2. The stipulation about 'rehiring 1.0 retainers' does this mean I will lose my items on a 1.0 retainer transferring over? Do I have to take all my items off my retainer?

a bonus... you can only have 100,000 on your retainer and 1 mil max on your character. anything else you will lose.

You can turn extra gil into items, though and then turn them back into money. You probably still lose 25-30% but better than everything over the caps.

i transferred through 2 servers. started on ragnarok > hyperion . famfrit and i stayed put.

your 1st question is a yes.

your 2nd question is you do not lose your items. (not sure on the 1.0 side) if you need to rename a retainer. it will notify you.

i know a few that do not know the caps. i scouted the servers that items were higher priced. so on hyperion to famfrit transfer i bought all the shards i could. the shards on hyperion at the time was 20-60 for 1. so it was really cheap while over at famfrit the same shards were going for 160-350 depending on the shard in question. i made 12 mil that day alone.

As I understood it when 2.0 hit you kept the stuff in your 1.x retainers but you had to rehire them to access then again. If you've rehired them in 2.0 then it will be ok but if not the old 1.0 retainers inventory will be gone.

1.- Yes.
2.- No. What it means is that, if it is a legacy character and it had retainers in v1.x, the retainers where, lets say, "taking a break". Now that you are back, you have to call them back too... aka "rehire". If you already did, then there is nothing to worry about. Make sure you hire both of them even if you remember using only one, just to be on the safe side.

Also if I remember correctly, you gotta take all the stuff out from the calamity savager. He must have something, since they took most of the stuff you had in your inventory from 1.x and gave it to him.
