I know CG and all the mechanic is not even compare to ff14 but i'm actually enjoying this a lot more than daily ex roulette... I'm still enjoying ff14 but if you are too bored with it, i would recommend try something different none mmo for a change.

After work, once I've done daily, i spend about an hour on Witcher 3 and spend most of time toying with FF7 on my pad until gf get mad.

Well I quite liked 9 but mobile version is not out yet. I will probably buy it when it comes out. (i don't plan to spend any on 8 though)
My personal favourite is FF7 I played the longest and spend enough time on maxing out all the materia lol

9 and 8 are propably most underrated FF's out there, 9 was imo one of the best if not best FF game ever made(chocobo hot&cold, best mini-game ever, why its not in XIV yet? we already have treasure maps), only good thing in 7 was materia system and weapon bosses.

I admittedly know very little about 8 beyond drawing, the wrist-mounted corgi launcher, and Doomtrain.
