While I can't note if it's been confirmed or not, I do believe the devs were surprised at the lack of jackpot winners in Cactpot. Seriously, out of all the people playing across all servers, only around 400 total have won the million token prize (as of the last time they showed statistics for it). But then these are the same devs that thought everyone was rife with properly earned gil a while back, too... I wouldn't be surprised if the fenrir mount does get discounted in the light of this.

I'd love to just chill out with this mount one day.
I think giving it a howling animation would be pretty cool.
Hope the devs don't give it the cold shoulder and forget about it.

Shame that with flying here in 3.1, I feel most grounded mounts won't get much attention besides Kirin and I think the Primal ponies, since I think they were going to give them flight later on.

While I don't think Fenrir needs to fly, I would not mind giving it some kind of ability or emote. Even adding it's own music like Snowcloaks would be fine for me.
