such a nice thread, i can't say im a very experienced played, just have 1 high class but i know the basics and just the other day i instructed a new player to the whole crafting system, felt nice to help, Sign me up Kobushi Katsu from Besaid, good luck with stuff at home =)

Maybe i will be the realist here... New players need to do what we all have done and putt in the time to look up information and stop expecting hand outs there coming in the game when it's much easier then it was. any one from beta tell now will tell you the same. There are far to many moochers and LS swappers to be putting in mass amounts of time and gil and anima in helping. yea sure ones and twos here and there but other then that. they need to putt in the hard work and stop expecting a golden road from high ups who putt in there time to do the things they want to do.

This isnt for personal gain or a sense of "IM cool for helping".
The idea behind this is to encourage players and teach them the ropes of how to play this. This isnt made to powerlevel players or hand em out cool items and gils.

My idea for this is to help them be able to stand on their own two legs and learn how best to do things. If they want to leave the LS or whatever group or forum they joined...they are entitled to do such a thing... but even if only 1 out of a 100 appreciates truly what you or anyone did for them...then what we do is worth it.

It is on a real note, but if this allows me to meet new player's and make new friends I am all for it, and to ensure they enjoy their experience as well. For me I don't enjoy it if I don't have people to talk to and do things with, I think this is exactly what this will give those new players... I too have been around for the past year, and I will say I wish there was something like this at release... I would probably have more friends and people to talk to in game.
