Joke Weapons? :D

I think it would be awesome to have joke weapons, like how FF7 did. For DRG, it could be a mop/broom, for DRK could be a giant fan, SCH could be a giant encyclopedia that is bigger than the character sprite, etc. It would be purely for glamour, like the Emperor's New clothes, but I think it would be fun

The staff for blm from ffxiii is a clock. A joke weapon from a joke game.

Personally I would like weapons to have different skins. Cause it's not unusal for wizards to use daggers or scythe, have staves look like aesthetically like them but still function like holding a staff.

The same could go for other jobs.

That was actually from FFXIII-2 - it was the weapon Mog carried in the game and actually functioned as the game's ATB/agro timer if you were agroed by an enemy. A number of the FFXIII event weapons were actually not from FFXIII itself but were from XIII-2 and Lightning Returns.

Getting back on track though, there was a thread a while ago in General Discussion that talked about this very idea, and yes, I would so love this (more glamour is always good) - by the magic of copy and paste:
