How does one amass close to half a million seals in the space of 7 days... must less over 30 days, the other time period for the "standings," given a 50k cap?

I haven't done it but I imagine that it's dungeon in various ways. You have the daily gather/crafter turn ins. HQ stuff will net you double the reward for the turn in and each day none or all of those will have a star by the craft/gather class to indicate that it gives a better reward than usual. End game gear gives about 1k in seals as well. There's also GC leves, fates, dungeon dailies, challenge log, the FC buffs, etc.

More like, what are you going to do with 700000 seals anyway

Or venture coins, I guess, if you have like 8 retainers. Maybe their just buying that Chocobo pepper? XD

True...I myself spent a gross amount of seals on cordials back when leveling.
Cordial....................ugh, the description makes it sound like mountain dew or something.
Ah ventures... those too. I've found I have a surplus of expert turn in items now though...maybe I hsould go ahead and make more stacks of venture.
