Faust:
Solo tank method, can potentially alternate who tanks Faust at what stack and blow all your defensive CDs for that time period and have one tank who solely picks up adds. Doesn't really matter as long as it dies.
Oppressor:
Phase 1: Resin bombs stacked under boss or to the side, whichever. Decimate the Alarums (literally). Whoever has Prey heals themselves with SW and Thrill + Conv (unless it's the SCH obv). Veng + Thrill + Conv from the main tank before cleave (+SW after) and then a quick swap to another tank before .5 shows up.
Phase 2: Another quick swap once .5 shows up on the enemy list, making the previous MT the .5 MT and allowing optimal DPS on the original Oppressor. OTs blow all their defensive CDs on Alarums, MTs blow all their defensive CDs on Plasma + Holmgang, blah blah jump happens.
Phase 2 pt2/pt3: Swap with 2 designated OTs at the start to allow for Holmgang + all CDs on all Plasmas (so swap again if another jump happens).
Advantages:
- Pretty much never have to heal anyone except for very specific parts of the fight.
- 100% Deliverance uptime from everyone (except the SCH :<)
- Lots more healer DPS opportunities
- Probably more I haven't thought of.
Cons:
- No SMN (double virus, higher DPS), though you could go 6 WAR + 1 SMN + 1 SCH at the risk of needing to heal SMN for Prey if they get it.
- Possibly more work for the SCH since they're solo healing, but less healing overall so... maybe it evens out?
- Fairy can only heal one tank, which means the other may need to be manually healed.
- Probably more I haven't thought of.
Thoughts on this? Haven't really put too much thought into it but the idea seemed interesting. You could also go 2x healer but I feel like that'd defeat the purpose, aside from making it significantly easier to heal. Was also considering throwing 2x PLD into the mix to Cover Prey targets, but with all those WARs it wouldn't be necessary. Maybe 1 PLD incase the SCH gets it lmao.
