Why do people do this on the market board

Why do some people bother to put up stuff for 1 gil sometimes huge quantities of it. Why waste their time? If the price is worth that little I would vendor or it or even throw it away.

I just don't understand what runs through peoples minds when they do this. I just observed this after seeing a whole page of dodo feathers for 1g.

I have no idea, when I see something dip down that low i just either sell it to an npc vender or drop it.

I figure someone could use it, so I throw it up on the market for the default price, or even lower. Especially when I am doing my ventures, if it's something I find worthless, I just go ahead and put it up cheap. I am sure someone needs it.

Exactly what I do. No room on retainer? Vendor then.

It's a win/win situation. I don't want it, and someone will buy it, whether they buy it to jack the price up and resell or to actually use it or to even vendor it themselves .

Exactly! I'm one of those people who appreciates those small stacks when I just want to make a glamour prism, or something similar.
