In anything other than the high end content what good does a parser do anyways. I mean we've all run expert till our eyes bleed and we already know how fast mobs should die. You can tell without a parser that someone isn't doing as much as another.
Some people parse out of curiosity in any content, wanting to know what their numbers are. By consequence, they are also aware of the DPS of their fellow party members. This is where the concern comes in, which can be proven or put to rest by the responsibility of the parser. The more responsible parsers won't make any comments to those under-performing about what they're doing, taking a "say nothing if you have nothing nice to say" approach or simply respecting the ToS of not harassing players about it. Should the under-performers be causing actual problems for the whole group, they (the parsers) may feel inclined to inquire about it without overtly asking about why they aren't doing much damage unless it is for a DPS check. While there are times we can tell that someone is under-performing, parsers explicitly state what happened in a fight. Some do it for curiosity's and self-improvement's sake, which is fine.
