Here"s the thing you fail to understand. Casuals doesn't mean bad. I have dozens of casual friends on my server who can both do well in savage and pull 1.1-1.2k+ in dungeons. There is a difference between casual and bad. Learn itHere's the thing you are critically failing to understand.
Casual players, AKA the bad ones you hate? They are the lifeblood of this game. Being exceptional by its very nature makes you the minority whether you like it or not. The moment the majority of those players feel like this game is full of hostile assholes who kick them for not playing well enough? They stop playing, they stop paying, and poof. Your game is gone.
So yes, it does fall on you. And me. And everyone, to tolerate (or, gasp, try to help improve) subpar play.
Okay look.
Nobody is arguing that you can't kick someone who's obviously playing so badly you can't pass through a simple dungeon.
If you're making it through just fine, however, and you still kick someone partway in because their numbers didn't please you? You deserve to have the book thrown at you.
As i said, if someone is in similar gear, which mean he has done part of savage at the very least and cannot pull reasonable numbers, this person is being lazy and expect other people to do most of the work for them. im not gonna spend 30-35minutes in fractal so im kicking that person. There's nothing else to argue about. The bad players can leave this game for all i care, that only mean less *pls nerf literally everything* thread on the general forumOkay look.

So to recap, you think
-30 minutes in a dungeon is intolerable
-Casual players are doing Savage despite the fact that at most 20% of people cleared T9, and
-Random people who cannot make parties should make parties rather than use the Duty Finder, the purpose of which is to compose a random party.
Wow.
Just wow.
I guess I'll have to take solace in the fact that the actual devs agree with me, and hope you get caught doing this.

You can also take solace in the fact that Hallena's attitude shown here is actually a perfect example of the type of people who shouldn't be allowed to use parsers.

To respond:
-30 Minutes in a dungeon that shouldn't take 30 minutes is definitely intolerable. I've got other things to do, it's bad enough I have to run like 5 experts a week even after clearing savage.
-There are definitely casual players doing Savage. Just ask the clowns that got carried in my static and are continuing to get carried now.
-Why are random people not able to create parties? Is there no Party Finder in this game? No option to shout? Tell? Yell?
I'm about as open of a player as one could be. If I see a new guy in the dungeon who doesn't have a lot of gear and is clear he's still in the process of farming Law, I'm not gonna harass the guy. I'm just going to play that much harder so that the dungeon is that much shorter. I have a life outside of this game.
Lord knows I love this game but I don't want to be spending a million hours doing a trivial task like running my 14th damn Neverreap of the week because I'm a BLM and to SE that means please give me Neverreap every single time. No no no, I want to get out of there as soon as possible.
What about me? Can I use a parser? Can I see my numbers after each run? Why do I have to be bothered to ask my friends after every single clear what I was at? And what about when they aren't parsing? I'm just supposed to be like, "Well, I guess I'll never know how to min max my own rotations and fights." Sure, I'm good, but you're telling me I'm not allowed to make improvements and be the absolute best I can be.
I've never harassed anyone about their numbers. I've pretty much never harassed anyone until they started attacking me. But, you don't want people to have the option to step on your toes about something legitimate with evidence, so instead I have to be the one who's toes are getting stepped on. I tell you what, if anyone ever comes at me and is like, "Fire, your numbers are bad. Git gud." I would be like, ok thanks. I'm not going to go cry about it. Instead I'd be fighting to get the option to see my own numbers and work on it myself so I'm not wasting other peoples time.
And no, a dummy parse isn't going to do that for me. All that's going to tell me is my rotation is bad or good. I can have a great rotation but zero raid awareness and my dummy parse isn't going to mean much. I can hit 1400-1600 on a dummy with buffs but what good is that if I'm some scrub hitting 700 in a1s?

Three.
6 30 minute dungeons a week = three hours.
Cut that down by half, you saved one and a half hours in a week.
>StaticJust ask the clowns that got carried in my static
>Casuals
Inigo Montoya meme.
Because they don't have statics. Or groups. Or they're in the 10,000 man FCs where asking for a single thing is like shouting at a wall. All of this is just a distraction, of course, from the fact that the DF is there for people who don't have parties. End of story. Why are random people not able to create parties?

Is there a reason that someone in a Static can't be casual? Define casual. I was under the impression that it was someone who took a Casual approach to the game. Well that sums up some of the people in my static alright. Raiding 4 hours a week is pretty casual.
I still don't understand how random people can't make parties. I have a static that runs once a week. Twice if we're lucky. That's all they do. I seem to create parties for other content (without them) just fine. Party Finder is there for a reason.
You know that's a great point. You shouldn't speak of your teammates that way. If they acted like a team then I would wholeheartedly agree with you but it's not. I'm one of a few putting in the time to help us succeed. Were it so easy to replace them, we might have.Technically, they give you 90 minutes to do the dungeon, and anything faster than that is "quickly".
Like how entitled do you have even be to feel that thirty minutes of your day is just too long to spend with those filthy casuals?
Also if that's how you speak about your static, maybe you should get a new one. You shouldn't speak of your teammates like they don't matter.
You're putting words in my mouth. I never said anything about "filthy casuals" and if it weren't for the character limit you would have seen how I added on to what I initially posted. I'm not going to vote kick a new person. I'm not going to even mention it. I'm not going to like it, because I have other shit I have to do besides run a dungeon. You can't paint me as some evil hardcore douche because I'm not. You can't be mad at me for having an opinion differing from yours. Especially when I don't go out of my way to attack you. I shared my opinion. I'm not one to abuse the privilege of having a parse, but you're still going to tell me no and that's all my point was. You can't make an argument 100%. There's gray areas.
You can argue all you want about how much time is actually being saved and say it's only an hour and a half each week but that's an extra hour and a half. I could do a lot with that extra hour.
