DX11 Issue

I was having a lot of dx11 crashes which perplexed me since on my old laptop I had no issues and new one was much better. I reinstalled windows and worked flawless when I do get the dx11 crash I discovered it was due to a new driver or driver from another device. My experience is it seems to be something with offending drivers doesn't help but also provides some explanation why it's been so tricky to diagnose

Any update on this. I just cleaned out my pc, dust and all, new thermal paste, completed wiped and reinstalled windows, verified latest updates on everything was installed and then installed ffxiv and am still having issues with both dx11 and dx9.
amd 8350 watercooled
msi 390x factory overclocked 8 gig graphics
32gigs ddr3 memory
m.2 Samsung evo 256gig hdd

I should mention that this started happening after 4.01 update.

EVGA GTX 1080ti SC2/4770k on driver version 378.92 (older driver intentionally). Ever since 4.01 I have been crashing frequently with a dx11 error.

Literally played the game 2 hours ago, ate food and tried to log back in, no updates or changes to my PC. No crashes or anything leading up to this.
But now every login attempt the Directx crashes it out before the game even loads up.

For those of you on Creators Update, try disabling Game Mode from windows settings (along with Game DVR and Xbox overlay). I'm still in the process of testing, but doing that along with removing the overclock on my GPU seems to have helped.

It truly amazes me that Square Enix cares so little for this issue, even though it is constantly costing them money. So, are we going to get a Dev Team reply on why the hell they're so incompetent? I've posted MANY threads and replies about this issue with NO END IN SIGHT. No solution. Why? Because now, even Direct X 9 crashes when I load into Kugane or really when I changhe areas or have the game running for more than 5 seconds. Thanks Square Enix!

I have had the same error, and i am using an rx560 4gb. I've tried everything from downloading directx run time from microsoft site, using directx 9 which gives me a directx error (10000000) instead, doing the command prompt dism thing, and a system restore. Nothing works for me. Make your stuff work square.
