    You know what i miss?

Leveling a job from 1 to 30, last time i did that was last year. I was hoping the 3 new jobs would allow me to start at level 1, but no. They gave us 3 lv30 jobs. Not only you have 20 actions to get used to at the same time, but it's like "here's your new class, it's lv30 already, we did the fun part and left you the boring grinding."

Is there any hope for a new lv1 class?

You know what I don't miss? Clicking 1-3 buttons over and over again to reach a level where it's not abysmally slow.

that's always been the point of rpgs, you start with nothing and you work your way up by putting time in the game. No one wants a magic button to get you level max instantly, leveling is half the fun.

Yea but at the same time when you get a character in an rpg really late they usually know quite a bit of spells/abilities and don't start with only auto attack.
The best thing to see is your different jobs/classes as different characters.

You're not just some newbie adventurer anymore, your character is likely able to learn new skills faster than ever, and not resort to smashing dodos with their new greatsword. Leveling is half the fun? Well that's entirely subjective, I'd rather eat rotten Lalafell than level another class, I find it to be the most boring thing in existence but regardless of that, your point is redundant. Leveling 1-30 takes but a fraction of the time 30-60 takes, especially with the new 100% exp boost, want to level? Well there you go, 30 entire levels for you! Not only that, but you start at a point where you have more than 1 ability to spam over and over, how is that fun?

It's never the same way as your first job in this game however.. Your choices are pretty much fate grinding or dungeons. Not the epic questing to level cap that you had for your first job.

Unfortunately the gamers of today don't like that, pretty sure most people would be happy with an instant 60 button.

Just look at WoW, where you can buy a level 90.

You don't really start with nothing unless it's your first job. And leveling through grinding fates or dungeons isn't the most dynamic of game experiences. Knowing that I can see why people would be happy to skip all that on other jobs.

hm....if you want to play one of the new classes good, then you have to go to the low-level-dungeons too....don't you?

But yea, giving 3 lvl30 classes may misleads (for example) a DD to play a Tank without knowing anything about it!
I wonder how SE will manage this at 4.0
because atm it seems like it will be open for beginners...and if there are some new classes coming (surely will) how will it be for beginners? Can they start with a lvl 30 Job too?
I'm really looking forward to it ^^

I don't see how this can currently happen. You have to have a level 50 class to complete the story through 2.55 and get to Ishgard before you're able to unlock any of the new classes. One would think that by that point people would be familiar with the color coding system for tank/healer/dps. So, you pick up a new class. You equip your weapon and change job to that class. If you have a blue icon by your name... sorry buddy, you're a tank. You aren't a DPS no matter how much you may want to be or think you should be.
