What gears to use for Lancer?

Before 1.19, I only use two sets of armor - heavy and light, for all war & magic classes and had no problem fighting 30ish mob at lv20ish, but after 1.19 I found I no longer have good fighter stats and I couldn't even complete a lv20 one star leve.

I think maybe it's because of the dated gears? So what are the gears most suitable for lancer?

I prefer sprockets but a lot of people insist on cogs.

Dated gear is much weaker than the "normal" gear. So you should definetly buy some new gear. Also don't buy anything that's above your rank, because you dont get any stats (+str, +dex, etc) if you are not at (or above) optimal rank.

I found that "Dated" gears most of the time are still the only option to fill in the gaps in between tiers of "normal" gears, and they aren't necessarily weaker. The key is not to wear anything above your current level, or it can be as bad as not wearing anything.
