    share your bad experiences tanking

    blame the tank is real.
    we've probably all run into a few people that trash talked you, if not count yourselves lucky. share your stupid moments here just to vent or whatever.

    about a week or so ago I was tanking temple of qarn with the slowest dps ive seen in this game period. I haven't got 60 yet so that might not be saying much, but oh boy was it slow. when we reached the last boss the healer finally said
    "spamming unleash doesn't do much damage"
    it took me a second to realize, since I was expecting that he finally called out the dpsers, but then it hit me unleash is a DRK spell.

    well apart from just being wrong (we had been doing large pulls where unleash is best), what kind of person complains about the dps of the tank before the actual DPS!?
    oh man
    I was so disgusted I actually left them at the last boss.

    Actually, every one want to be the better dps, include tanks and healers. I gave up tanking because of this kind of behaviour.

    A tank is above all meant to be a taunting punching-ball who insults ennemies to anger them so they want to kill ONLY him x)

    Seriously, many, many tanks forget the fact that their role is not to hit, but to BE HIT.
    Just a few days ago, I was in a german team at the Stone Vigil, and the PLD didn't Flash or Taunt, and focused on ONE mob. At the first heal I gave him, the rest of the pack came and killed me, even though I was going near the tank for him to take ennemies from me easier...he didn't do it. Was forced to quit, as none of them spoke english or french.

    I fell in a team, too, where the NIN wore mage hat and hands, and an armor for crafters...great moments in DF !!
