    Aesthetician?

So I'm pretty sure I got some reward a while back that was a ticket for an appointment w/the Aesthetician. Could swear I stashed it in my bags for another time. Yesterday I started the process of Eternal Bonding... my understanding was we both got a visit from the same person. So I assumed it meant I now had 2 of those tickets.

Was doing some arranging of inventories with my retainers and it seems I now have NO tickets for this! So where did they go? Of course, I also can't seem to figure out how to actually search through my retainers bagsand mine... help?

Wondered if I can glean anything from calling the guy from the "bell" in my Inn room... he came and it looked to start the process of redoing part of my appearance. I may have missed it, but I woulda thought I'd get some one click link to the "Eternal Bond" male haircut. Of COURSE I assume that if they allow the process to start happening, it wojld complete and not get to the "apply" part and it says I need a ticket!

Of course, I also kinda like my hair the way I originally designed it, so not sure I want to change it. Can one easily reverse any "new" hairdo at a later date? BUT I'd really like to clear up my confusion...

If you cant find your ticket, you can just pay with gil. I think it cost 2,000, im not sure but i remember it being a small amount. I dont think there is a limit on how many times you restyle either.

Jandelaine will change any of your features for 2000 gil/visit, so yeah you can get your hair done again after (or not change it at all, personally I don't like the male Eternal Bond haircut)

And yeah you do changes first then pay/hand over a ticket. You don't NEED a ticket, it's just free if you have one.

The ticket is the quest reward for unlocking the aesthetician, which gives you 1 free use, if you dont have a ticket you have to pay 2000 gil. You can use the aesthetician unlimited times and there is no waiting period.

Any way I can figure out where my 2 free tickets went to (it's more the principle of the thing than the 2k gil)? Could they be listed somewhere on my character and not in my inventory? Not to mention, how DO I see WHAT the Eternal Bond haircut on me looks like?

    Searching inventory?

The item is called "Jandelaine's Token", and its icon is an envelope. It's a non-tradeable item, so I'm pretty sure the only places it could be are your inventory or one of your retainers' inventory.

To see how it (or any other haircut or appearance option) looks, use the crystal bell in the inn to summon Jandelaine and begin the appearance customization. You can try out any of the appearance options you like. (I'm pretty sure that Eternal Bond haircut just shows up in your list of available haircuts, along with all the original ones. At least that was the case when the Lightning event added additional haircut options.) At the end, you can either "Accept" the changes or "Cancel". You're only charged (either that token or the 2K gil) if you accept the change. You can use the try out and then Cancel for free.

Ahhhh, I had totally forgotten what it was called (yup, it has 2 hits on it), you saved my butt Niw, tyvm. There didn't seem to be any "names" with the various hair styles, so hard to say which one the Eternal Bond one was.

While we are on esthetics, when I created this character I wanted an older, bearded wise look, as befits a cloth wearing wielder of magic (although, I think in ffxiv, it's leather). Can't go old at all, AND I failed to find any of what I'd consider, suitable facial hair (stubble and hints of stubble look dumb to me). YET I see other characters having real beards and am wondering how did they do it.

Facial hair options differ based on race, and there aren't any unlockable ones like there are hairstyles. So if you don't have the options, they simply aren't available to your race.

By the way, these are the eternal bond hairstyles:
