Then there's no problem at all. If you're doing the best you can, then there's no reason for ANY raid leader to put that burden on your shoulders. People need to stop putting pressure on healers for things that are beyond our ability to do. There's a limit to how much DPS a healer can pull in a fight and if the whole group can't meet the check, then it's the group's problem. If you don't feel like melding things and if you believe that the MND loss is not worth the ACC gain (which I agree to, btw), then don't meld anything and tell your group to get good. People have been clearing A3S since week 3, if I'm not mistaken, so there's no reason for healer DPS to be a big problem right now and the content is far from impossible.

Wasnt T13 even cleared day 1?For whatever reason, the devs made a very strong stance on healer dps and nerfed it to the floor by starving you of accuracy.
IMO, its all part of their plan to lengthen the time it takes to clear progression content. And it appears to have worked, as I think AS4 has only been cleared 3 times now? Whereas T13 was cleared on like the second or third day I think.
It's annoying yes, it takes longer due to needing to spend weeks sometimes to gear up as a dps to meet the check when a healer is missing most of their attacks.
Had acc melds in SCOB and FCOB acc 493 + Steamed Catfish but atm the accessories available arent worth it and I cannot afford either :/ Default accuracy bugs me a lot... I mean I even miss in dungeons ;_;

				People do realise that, due to zero accuracy on non-crafted gear, Scholars have LESS accuracy than even the cap for new EX dungeons? Ie sitting at 354 acc.
That's right, Neverreap & Fractal are above our base accuracy. The same with certain hunt content (allegedly). Not to mention we fall below all Coil content & EX Primals. Can you imagine how worse it is going to get? My level 50 WHM in Poetics/Soldiery mix has more accuracy than my i190 SCH.
It is also assumed that "healers don't need to DPS", that's all well and good but our control & debuff abilities are also subject to the accuracy cap, as is our self healing ability Energy Drain. Miasma, to me, is an essential debuff for all content and can only be applied by a SCH or SMN.
Our low acc affects everyone in the team, even in content where we don't need to hit a DPS check.

 
			
			
				Honestly, they should just scrap accuracy all together. I'm not sure if anyone even likes juggling their ACC and picking less wanted gear over others because it has accuracy.
I know I hate it, I see accuracy as just an artificial barrier of difficulty, which forces players to kit themselves out sub-optimally, so that they can meet a pointless accuracy check.
Making this even more miserable, they don't even give you any way to really properly tell what is enough accuracy, forcing the use of a 3rd party tool to calculate percentages.


 
			
			
				Not just scholars mate, every healer has 354 accuracy on bis gear.
WHM is the only one of the 3 that got the short stick, SCH has shadow flare, bio and bio II that bypass accuracy and total 790 potency, AST has combust and combust II that also bypass accuracy and total 690 and then WHM has 3 dots and all 3 can miss.

Healer accuracy requirement was lowered by default. You should certainly not be missing much in dungeons. It's possible to miss, sure, but it's quite rare from my experience.
In savage mode, it's annoying, but it's not that big of a deal past week 2. My group had no issues with dps requirements for a3s as of week 3 (we have multiple clears) even when I'm missing a lot of miasma's, aero's, energy drains, broils and ruin/ruin2's. But we also have our tanks do a lot of dps with strength gear and staying in their dps stances (no grit/defiance) for literally everything but tethers in p3 and p4.
DPS check was tight, but once everyone got their 200 weapons, it's really been a non issue. If it is an issue, then your group needs to optimize better.



 
			
			
				"Stone III Miss" ><. It is a massive waste of time and MP to have this happen because of the missing accuracy on our gear.
Hopefully the devs do something about it, it doesn't have to be a change to Cleric Stance, just maybe new gear could possibly have it. It's weird how they took it away but left all our spells the same.
