    Extending usage of macros

I wish to see possibility to create macro and use it in another. That would tremendously help with all those 15+ steps crafting recipes if we were able to write sth like /ac "macro 1" while making one.

Also if we were able to use macros in quick synth (like at the start of process we choose a macro to use for specific recipe) it would boost crafting a lot. I know second idea would just flood market with hq mats and they would just drop on price insanely but maybe in some way it could be applicable? Crafting 500x pots / 100x food each week just for raiding purpose can be pretty tedious task.

For your first idea, it doesn't differ in any way from increasing the limit of actions. It would defeat the purpose of the limit to allow them to be chained. Macros are not meant to play the game for you.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

You can chain actions already using /wait. How does removing the artificial limits placed on macros do anything but benefit the users experience?

Because there's a 15 line limit on macros currently. And you can't use macros in macros because then you could chain together a long sequence where you just auto craft everything infinitely until you manually stop and they don't want that.

Crafting should take time and effort, you shouldn't be able to just press one button and then auto craft 500 things.

If you can't craft something on 15 steps, then you shouldn't be automating it anyway. Specifically because there is the ability to use <wait> there needs to be a limit on the actions used. And especially the ability to use one macro from another is absolutely out of question as it opens the gate for infinite loop. And that would open all sorts of cans of worms. Yes, the limit could be slightly bigger than it is now, it just happens to be 15, but infinite, nnope.

No, since you can't start crafting an item until you select it in the crafting log and click the "Synthesize" button. Every time your craft ends in success or failure, you have to do this. And there is no way to do this directly with macros. You can't just write a macro and make it auto craft w/o the game requiring some user interaction.

You can do this right now using a Logitech Gaming keyboard on the PC... and why not? I mean crafting basic items is repetitive and dull. And crafting those same items 500 times, what difference does it make if it's done automatically or not? It's just the same actions over and over. What you aren't going to do is macro items that are difficult to craft. You try to macro these recipes and you'll almost always fail, resulting in the loss of materials! And hi-level recipes require hard-to-obtain items that you will definitely not want to risk loosing to a macro.

You can't currently start a synth with an in game macro, so infinite lines isn't an issue.

Your suggestion would make it possible to make infinite macros, regardless what you use them for. Such loopholes don't belong to a macro interface.

Pick an area with a green mob. Make a macro which targets one, empties a suitable rotation to it (BLM maybe), maybe toss in few self heals for the ice buff portion. And rinse and repeat if you can call macro from macro. Sure the exp would be low (or drops like, say, Fleece) but what's there to care if you can leave it running for overnight. Fully doable with the macro commands now except the repeat part. I don't know of you, I'd call it botting. But can it be condemned if the game interface allows it..
