    you mean to intially get the first item for the quest? I just went to a random spot at Knoll and went through 3 schools of fish and got mine finally when it kicked in.

    Best thing I did was get a Weathered Pick Axe, Weathered Fishing Rod, and Weathered Hatchet and search for grade 1 nodes for each in the circle. It ended up being Fishing for me. Bring moth pupa for freshwater.
