Character creation EXP bonus?

While traversing a dungeon, a group member suggested that there should be an EXP bonus based on the number of characters you have, and I concur with them greatly. While it's nice to have more character options, it just becomes increasingly difficult to level them up and get to end game. And if you think about it, not only will we benefit, but maybe the S.E. could too. Don't you have to pay for more characters depending on the account you have? So perhaps this is a system that both players and the company could profit from. Although if you see a problem, feel free to point it out. If you find a better alternative, share that too. Maybe we can impact the game...or not.

Well, I know since I have the "entry" account, which is like. $2 cheaper or something, I can only have eight characters total (and only one per server). The "standard" gets ... 40 I think? And like.. eight per server I think. Even if they did something like this, it's more a money issue to save those $2 monthly (not much yes but it helps)... so while it's not a bad idea I don't think there would be any monetary incentive to add it.

The problem I can see with this is that new players could just powerlevel themselves by creating 30+ characters right out of the box. I think that if something like this were to work it would have to be based on something like number of levels gained or number of jobs at max level, per character, but on an account wide basis. And any increases to the exp bonus would have to be a gradual enough process that players wouldn't see an account upgrade as a possible p2p boost, but at the same time still give a noticable benefit to players that like to play a lot of alts.

I have a solution but they would never do it.
If you have a level 60 already then you get to fast forward and start with a fresh 50 on the alt and then just have to level it to 60 to do endgame.
I don't think they would ever go for this though. This is why I have never made an alt...way too much time to run with other people...and I don't have that kind of time to play.
Maybe some day they will do something for us.

Ah, they could base it on your level and /ptime across all characters, so you couldn't just make a bunch of new characters (they would all be lvl one and /ptime of like, ten minutes).

You get rested bonus per character, and daily roulette bonuses per character. I leveled my alts almost exclusively off low level roulette to 50, and MSQ + daily hunts to 60.
