Hello Eorzea, I'm not sure if this is the correct placing for this thread, please let me know if its not. I'm a new player and I've been enjoying the game. I found what battle class I like and I like gathering and a bit of creating on the side. Anyways, the purpose of me being here is that I'm looking for friends to play the game with. I don't mind rerolling on another server or anything, as long as I can continue to enjoy the game. Soloing gets boring really quick. Hope to hear from you guys soon! Happy hunting

me and my friend would like another member we are on raban but we might be switching soon we arent sure yet... we might just stay on Raban though and try to grind it out and find a high level or a LS to get some help your more then welcome.

Awesome, what city are you guys in? I'm not too concern if the players I find are new or not, I feel having more players enhances the game dramatically. Let me know what you guys are going to do, I probably wont make a decision until late today or sometime tomorrow.

Totally agree that having other people to play with makes the game much, much more enjoyable. Although these forums often sort of descend into anarchy and sniping, the players in game are -- in my opinion -- the best MMO community I've ever experienced. They're really helpful and positive and nice.

You folks may want to post on your server's World forum, too. There are often linkshell posts there, too. Besaid and Rabanastre.

I shouted for 2 hrs yesterday and never got any answers to any questions. I find the community on fabul to be non-existant or I just log on at the wrong times. The town of Gridania is just a ghost town.

Part of your problem may be that you're shouting in Gridania. It tends to be the most empty of all 3 cities. If you're looking for people, I'd suggest that you make your way to Uldah. That tends to be where most people have congregated.

I agree with the OP. Solo play is incredibly boring..I haven't been in a party or spoken to anyone on here for longer than 3 minutes in almost 9 months.
