Toggle area of effect with gamepad?

I'm back to give the game another go after months of not playing. Before I left, my gamepad had a button that would toggle the area of effect options for spells with my Thaumaturge. Now, it doesn't work, at least, I haven't figured out how to make it work. I'd prefer not to let go of it to hit something on the keyboard. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions? Thanks.

In the gamepad config menu it's the button you use to access the Micro menu (the little menu on the bottom-right of the screen by default). It's the same button that was formerly for the emote menu (which you can now access through the micro menu). If you haven't configured your gamepad you might need to re-do it for the new button to be assigned.
