Obviously I don't care for the comms ppl are giving to me (I'm tank tho). The only thing which pushes me towards being better and better is the content itself and better ppl which are proving there is still a place to improve. What content? Coils, savage, primals in the week they're released, etc.

				I say, leave healers alone.
Unless people are dying from no heals, lay off the panic for the extra dps, there is no need for it to complete most content, and the potential 1 minute saved in a total run is hardly worth the need to complain.
For those that are comfortable to dps, then thats wonderful..it honestly is and I will say good job!! but to expect it is where things go wrong.
Far too much dps obsession.
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!

What's there to learn from it? That the rest of the group was so quick to get out of the place they didn't stop to leave comms is most often the case after all. And even good healer doesn't necessarily get comm if there was also good tank and good dps. It's not like it specifically should go to healer so loss of it is not a sign of being bad. If you want to leave certain opinion then leave it in certain terms. It's called communication but that of course takes some precious seconds to write the comment.

This sadly seems to be about 50% of healers i meet in DF... then about 45% are the ones that sit there spamming heals on me when i lose like 5% HP.I swear the first 50% are all afk and occasionally look at the screen to toss me a heal. I mean if I'm dipping to low HP anyway you might as well DPS to speed up the run or i'll just switch to DPS mode because then your lazy ass will actually have something to do...

In most roulette's, I always try to pass on all my dots while keeping everyone sufficiently healed up, if I am a SCH, I will always go for a bane, I DPS if everyone is fine and I usually switch to cleric stance after the tank is receiving HoT's or good shielding. I love DPS'ing as a healer, hell I have beaten the first boss in Fractal without coming out of cleric once, that deeps bruh, can't get enough of it.
If I am lazy or tired, I will mostly stick to healing, but I do tend to keep DoT's up, better than just standing there with full MP.
I notice its mostly less confident healers who stick to just healing, some simply don't feel comfortable going into DPS mode, which is fine as long as healing is never an issue through the run.

While i always dps when it's feasable, but coming from FFXI attacking as a healer was a no no. I'm positive other mmos had similar mentalities towards healers just healing, XIV likes to make things fast though so healer dps is expected, but should notbe required.
And just one experience i had as a new red mage in XI back in like 2008 in a lvl 30ish exp party in yuhtunga jungle (came late into that game lol):
*attacks with enspelled sword and casts thunder*
Tank: rdm heal haste refresh only. Why arent you using a staff?
Me: we have a lvl 75 rdm outside the party healing us and i don't get haste or refresh until the 40s. And rdm has no skill with staves
*immediately gets booted from group*

I'm one of those healers who only heal, just like I'm a tank that don't dps. But then again, I feel like that should only apply to dps-check fights. Call it what you want, but if I want to dps, I'll go NIN. Sorry if you feel the way you do.
Don't blame the player for doing their primary job perfectly.

DC Universe is the only MMO I played where the healer need to attack to regain POWER; POWER is needed to cast heals, especially if there's no Controller there (Controllers restore party's power). While i always dps when it's feasable, but coming from FFXI attacking as a healer was a no no. As a CNJ, some of our quests requires us to DPS, this is true, but the BULK of it is to make sure the NPCs stay alive or it's a fail. Try finishing the quest without healing the Great Tree.
