Targeting idea

To make targeting easier it should change, or at least be made an option to have cone targeting. Being able to select targets from closest to furthest away in a fan shape would prove to be leaps and bounds ahead of the current targeting system.


from right to left, or left to right (depending on direction you press) selects the next mob closest to you moving out in a "V" cone.
left to right:

which is what we currently have.

Something like this would work great when trying to target mobs that you are engaged with espesially after the link system.

try /bt which 'should' target the closest mob with hate.

/bt mode on only allows you to select mobs that you currently have emenity against. good luck trying to target that mob that linked and is attacking a party member.

or simply being able to target the mob literally closest to you not just left or right .....just closest, thats all i want

i dont want a cone style target, i want the closest target in a 360 degree view. whether its behind me, in front or off to the side.
Oo very very simple yet even that is not achieveable

targeting is terribad atm

Does /bt make it easier to solo when fighting against multiple mobs? I use a controller, and it can be a pain to target the second mob after you finish off the first.
