There should be more people like this in the world

Last night, I had a blast playing FFXIV again. I have been here since the first day but taking breaks here and there due to real life heh.

What made last night special was the help I received from a high rank player. I was stuck, very confused....so I asked a question in a shout.


The player answered and came to find me in ul'dah. He then proceeded to show me the NPC I needed and what I should do next + even offered to walk/choco me to where I needed to go. Not to impose on his game I told him I can find it myself and just need rough coordinates.

Once I was back in ul'dah, I walked past and stopped to speak to him again, and thank him for his help/time.

As a bonus he offered to repair my gear and upgrade my bow to the level I was at for free.

I just wanted to share that story with the forum. Excluding all the hate/cries/trolls on here and in game.....there ARE nice people, and willing to help.

It made this game so much better in one night. And thanks to the player again ^^b

And, what a lovely story. I'm glad you shared it with the community. It's refreshing to see there are still kind hearted people out there in the world. I hope this inspires some more people to act like your new found friend
