I am sorry to hear so many people upset at the balancing of a brand new patch that hasnt been out for even a week yet. SE has said, after this patch, the game is only 50% there (the state where they want it to be for PS3 release and charging) i dont know if you saw the length of the patch notes for this recent patch but it was quite extensive and if you expected a patch that changed so many things (abolition of ranks and phys levels, major changes to the combat, new areas, new armor upgrading system, materia, etc) to be perfect, your expectations are a little high. this game had issues from the get go and if you look at where it was to where it is now and the vision they have for the future, i think it is worth being patient for.
SE is already aware of some balancing issues and there were parts of the 1.19 patch that got postponed to 1.19a. if you need that instant satisfaction i'm sure you will be quite happy playing WoW, Rifts, Aion, etc. it annoys me to see posts like these. despite what you may think, we are all playing an open beta, a work in progress. expect changes to come in stages, provide positive feedback and realize they need to prioritize their fixes, they cant do everything all at once. i suggest, rather than the rage quit, post angry comments, then leave: maybe identify the core issue you are having, post your findings, your recommendation for a fix, then quietly step back and watch for patch notes for when your issue is being addressed. when it gets addressed come back, test it out, and see if it meets your expectations and if it dosent, repeat the process. but if you dont like the game, arent willing to wait, or think its the worst piece of crap ever, why would you take the time to announce it on the forums? when you take a big nasty crap, do you pull it out of the tiolet and show your friends and family how bad it is? no, you flush it and walk away.
