We should ally with the Garleans

Why we should NOT ally with the Garleans:

They're a gods damned empire.

Plus, they seem to have something in common with Sauron. You probably know what it is.

So what if they are an empire? The whole "empires are bad" thing is really only a modern viewpoint. Very few native citizens of the British Empire during it's greatest extent in the 19th century thought they were doing the wrong thing or were "evil".
