We should ally with the Garleans

But there's one thing in the story that has bothered me so far

If I remember right there was a scene where Alphinaud tells you that he doesn't want the word out that citizens of Eorzea can summon primals into themselves, because then the Empire would see the whole of Eorzea as something that needs to be glassed. Then Shiva does her Shiva thing right in front of the Imperial warship... And nobody on board the Enterprise seemed to notice or take that fact into account. I'm not even sure the garleans cared. Like, everyone is going to pretend like that didn't just happen? I'm not crazy right? That conversation happened? Shouldn't we be concerned? No? Okay.

Well Garleans already treat people who have the Echo as if they were Beastmen, so it's not really changing anything aside from making them go, "of course they can do that" and then having more of a reason to see us as Beastmen.
