There is no single point that someone lists the atrocities of the Garlean Empire one by one like I did, but if you talk to the NPCs outside of the direct cutscenes, a lot of it gets spelled out or at least heavily implied.

Garleans are bad business.

this is a game, in star wars the old republic mmo you can join like a sith from a empire how attack the republic territories is a surprise masive attack conquer and make true slavery, force the democratic republic into the abyss of despear, in both sides you can be evil or good person, so why i cant join in this game to garlean side? because the lore say you are a good guy and you go to save eorzea, is sense is they game and for now SE dont whant garleans wol.

but say the empire is evil they are murderes how conquer and kill millions, i repeat good and evil are only point of view, for eorzea the empire are the bad guys how kill ppl for territory, and for the empire the savages of eorzea are the bad guys how play whit power irresponsibly, and make risk of the equilibium of the world.

like the light and darkness cliche who say the darkness is evil and bla bla bla, light and darkness are the same think like jing and jang, the good and evil are only a human invetion.

I'm not sure they are. It's just... much of what you see in Square's worlds, (not just this one, all of Square's products, back to day dot, as well as in their films and light novels,) is a form of commentary on things from the real world, whether those things are political, moral, or matters of human emotion. One of the reasons Square is so popular here, is because they give us stories in which the heroes they create fight against, and beat these things we see in the real world that we don't feel we can do anything about. It's still a very innocent form of storytelling, and perhaps one others might suggest is quite naïve, but it's what they're famous for, and they're good at it.

So to see comments here so casually promoting adoption of those things the Eorzean world passes commentary on is... disheartening.

mmm i think ppl missundertand mi view point.

1º example, star wars is the most easy, many ppl like the empire, in america and spain have the version of the 501th legion ''the fist of vader'' and some times make parades and events like that, in lore the empire is bad and make many thinks bad, are bad, but out the star wars universe are a facction love for many fans customes and more, i dont see ppl say this ppl are bad persons imperialist ect ect.

that the same think i try to say here, i like the empire like IN GAME, they make many bad thinks for domas, ala migho, yes for then are bad ppl how come and conquer and kill they friends and familly, actully except cid and nero whe dont talk whit many garleans, civil garleans i mean, so whe dont know how the ppl in the empire lives, so whe can't jugde the empire for all acusations from ppl how only face soldiers, soldiers make bad thinks in war.

i repeat this is a game nothing real is true SE never make a game where the dark warriors, well meaby cecil in ffiv in a redeption journy, and in the last the kingdom of cecil come good in the end.

join the empire dont means support old acctions, but change for whatheber reason and make the empire a ally with a superior enemy i like to join the empire in that fight thats all i try to see nothing else
